This is a senior opportunity to take ownership of in-app advertising performance across a portfolio of live mobile titles, shaping strategy while remaining closely involved in execution.
About the role...
In this role, you will be responsible for the direction, performance, and long-term stability of a large-scale in-app advertising business. You will own a significant annual ad revenue stream and work cross-functionally with product, data, and engineering teams to drive sustainable growth while protecting the player experience.
This position suits someone who combines strategic thinking with hands-on analytical and technical expertise in the mobile advertising ecosystem.
What you’ll be doing:
- Define and continuously evolve the advertising monetisation strategy across multiple live mobile games
- Own end-to-end ad revenue performance, including monitoring, optimisation, and rapid response to volatility
- Investigate revenue fluctuations by identifying root causes across mediation setups, ad networks, formats, geographies, and user segments
- Lead the development and optimisation of the ad technology stack, including mediation configuration, bidding and waterfall logic, and testing new formats
- Use large-scale performance data to translate metrics such as CPM, fill rate, and revenue per user into clear actions
- Partner closely with product, user acquisition, data, and engineering teams to improve ad placement, segmentation, and monetisation design
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing ads or ad operations function, setting clear direction and accountability
- Manage senior relationships with ad networks and partners to ensure strong commercial outcomes, fast issue resolution, and platform compliance
What we’re looking for:
- Significant experience in ad monetisation, ad tech, or performance marketing within mobile apps or games
- Proven ownership of large-scale in-app advertising revenue and demonstrable growth outcomes
- Deep understanding of mediation platforms, bidding models, waterfall optimisation, and network performance
- Strong analytical and numerical skills, with confidence interpreting complex datasets
- Experience operating in high-responsibility environments where revenue stability is critical
- Clear, confident communication skills and experience working with senior internal and external stakeholders
- A collaborative approach with experience working closely with product, data, and engineering teams
Nice to have:
- Experience overseeing monetisation for high-performing mobile titles or large app portfolios
- Exposure to advanced optimisation approaches, including predictive modelling or machine-learning-driven systems
- Working knowledge of SQL
