The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of Unreal Engine development and a background in optimizing existing games for performance on various platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Porting Existing Titles: Work on porting existing games to different platforms using Unreal Engine.
- Performance Optimization: Analyze and optimize game performance through applying iterative testing and profiling.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with game designers, artists, and other developers to align on porting challenges and solutions.
- C++ and Blueprint Programming: Utilize both C++ and Blueprints to implement solutions and ensure smooth gameplay experience across all devices.
- Maintain Quality Standards: Ensure high-quality standards in the ported titles and resolve bugs and any technical issues.
Requirements - Minimum of 2 years experience developing in Unreal Engine, with a focus on porting.
- Strong proficiency in C++ programming and Unreal Engine's Blueprints.
- Experience with performance optimization techniques for games.
- Understanding of console and PC gaming architectures.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work well in a collaborative environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, fluent in English.
