We are looking for a passionate and experienced Senior iOS Engineer to join our team at Side. You will play a key role in designing and building robust and high-performance native iOS applications, ensuring code quality and maintainability, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in a dynamic and multicultural environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain native iOS applications.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Maintain code quality and automatization.
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
RequirementsMust-Have Qualifications - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in native iOS development.
- Strong experience with multi-threaded and asynchronous programming.
- Proficient in Object-Oriented Programming and SOLID principles.
- Experience with design patterns such as MVC and MVVM.
- Strong knowledge of RxSwift and RxCocoa.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect to backend services.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins), JIRA, Confluence.
- Knowledge of Apple's Human Interface Guidelines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Experience with Agile methodologies.
Nice to Have - Experience with XCTest Framework and UI Testing.
- Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills, especially in multithreaded and performance-critical apps.
- Ability to adapt to tight deadlines and fast-paced development cycles.
- Experience with audio/video real-time communication, including protocols such as RTSP, RTP, HLS.
- Familiarity with SIP, H265/H264 codecs, FFMPEG, and WebRTC.
- Experience delivering real-time streaming video at scale using modern iOS technologies ([provide examples if applicable]).
