We want someone who works well within a small team environment and has the wellbeing of the video games world at the centre of their motivation.

Our goal is to ensure our messaging reaches gamers worldwide, to reduce mental health stigma and ensure players know where to go if they need help. We also want to reach the global games industry and its employees to offer a wealth of free support, resources, and training to make the games industry a safer and more inclusive place to be.

About Safe In Our World

Safe In Our World is a charity within the games industry. We launched in 2019, and our aim is to foster worldwide mental health awareness across the video games industry and wider community.

Our Mission

To unite the games industry with a common purpose: to eliminate mental health stigma and foster inclusive environments. To provide access to information and resources internationally.

Our Vision

A global games industry prioritises mental health and wellbeing. A community that is free from prejudice and stigma. A world where everyone feels safe and no one is afraid to speak out.

Our Values

• To put the charity first and act in its best interest.

• To be respectful: to value the talent, time and intentions of everyone we work with.

• To be courageous: to speak out fearlessly; to be bold and confident to take on challenges.

• To be supportive: to create a culture where everyone feels supported, we ensure that everyone has the space and agency to be their best selves

• To be open and honest in all communication.

The Senior Marketing Manager will lead and line manage the Communications & Marketing Manager, delegating responsibilities as appropriate while providing clear direction, support and oversight. They will be accountable for ensuring all activations are delivered effectively, campaigns achieve maximum impact, and all activity aligns with the charity's strategic objectives. Balancing strategic thinking with practical delivery, the successful candidate will be comfortable both leading a team and getting directly involved in key marketing initiatives when required.

• Work alongside the Safe In Our World team and trustees to create, execute and manage marketing plans to achieve strategic goals.

• Package and promote existing initiatives delivered by the Programmes department to ensure the success of each activation.

• Work with the Head of Programmes to build and market new initiatives aimed at the games industry and gamers.

• Develop and maintain a strong and recognisable brand, with supporting documents, bringing consistency to our communications.
