Gray Zone Warfare has been under development in our bustling offices for more than three years. This new game is an immersive tactical FPS with a maximum focus on realism, immersive gameplay, and stunning graphics powered by Unreal Engine 5. We are currently looking for a new colleague to join our team as a Senior Level Designer. You will create and tweak world locations while also preparing quests, events, and enemies present in the game world to make the player's journey through the world thrilling and engaging. Your ultimate goal will be to bring the best possible experience for players in a realistic, open-world game.
This is an on-site position in Brno, Czech Republic.
WHAT IS YOUR MISSION:
- Designing attractive game world locations according to the game vision and lore.
- Preparing location layouts and building plans.
- Creating greyboxes of locations, working with terrain, and placing assets.
- Working with game designers to create engaging quests, events, and enemies for the game world.
- Implementing gameplay features in Unreal Engine.
- Working closely with the art department and collaborating with all game development disciplines.
- Cooperating on balancing gameplay to ensure a satisfying player experience.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: - 5+ years of experience in developing PC/console games.
- A passionate, lifelong gamer.
- You possess strong fundamentals in level design.
- You excel at creating levels for first-person or third-person games.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- You are eligible to work in the EU. Due to the length of the visa process, we are unable to provide you with a visa.
- It is mandatory to be based in Brno, so you must be willing to move. We can, of course, provide you with relocation support.
