We’re pushing the boundaries of what's possible in Unreal Engine - and we need your frontend expertise to bring our ambitious visions to life. As our Mid-Level Frontend Developer, you'll be the crucial link between stunning creative concepts and seamless player interactions in our groundbreaking gaming platform.

What will you do?
- Collaborate effectively with Creative, IT, Production, and Mocap teams.
- Self-manage daily workload, organizing and delivering progress updates to teams.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for frontend pipelines, maintaining clear process comms and assisting team onboarding.
- Working across Animation, Blueprint, Widgets, and UI pipelines.
- Integrate Skeletal Meshes into a database system.
- Create shaders and materials for characters and environments.
- Setting up physics for assets (bodies, resizing, parameters, simulation).
- Integrate characters, environments, and assets into UE scenes.
- Work with Live Link.
- Work with performance profilers and optimizing assets to hit performance targets.
- Integrate and manipulate motion capture data within Unreal Engine.
- Work with motion capture systems (Vicon, Xsens, OptiTrack, Move.AI, Rokoko, etc.).
- Assist with mocap data retargeting and animation blending.
What are we looking for?
- 2-5+ years of professional experience with Unreal Engine.
- Proficiency with programming and working with UE Blueprint system.
- Familiar with the full character pipeline across DCCs and Unreal.
- Self-starter with a willingness to expand your understanding of the role and take on new responsibilities as your skillset increases.
- Fascinated by optimisation, performance profiling and documentation on processes.
Qualifications:
- Practical industry experience is mandatory; no formal university degree required.
- Certifications in Game Development and/or Virtual Production are highly valued.
- Must provide a professional portfolio showcasing relevant technical projects or contributions.
What additional skills will help you standout?
- Intermediate experience with motion capture workflows and data integration.
- Open to applicants without mocap experience, but learning is required.
- Intermediate proficiency in Digital Content Creation tools (Photoshop, Blender, 3DS Max, etc.).
