Senior QA Analyst - Tools
Location: Barcelona, Spain - Hybrid
No visa sponsorship, but will pay relocation for EU citizens.
We are looking for a Senior QA Analyst - Tools to ensure the stability and quality of the tools that power our game development processes. This role is critical to enabling developers and creators to work efficiently, through rigorous testing, automation, and continuous process improvements.
Responsibilities:
- Own QA processes for internal tools, including test planning, execution, and automation
- Collaborate with engineers, producers, and designers to identify requirements and validate functionality
- Develop automated test solutions to increase efficiency and coverage
- Track, document, and manage defects across multiple tools and systems
- Provide feedback to improve tool usability and developer workflows
- Advocate for quality across the entire production pipeline
Requirements: - Proven experience as a QA Analyst, ideally focused on tools, pipelines, or game development environments
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test automation, and defect tracking systems
- Technical proficiency with scripting or automation frameworks
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with ability to collaborate across teams
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on reliability and efficiency
Nice to Have: - Experience with game engines (e.g., Unity, Unreal) and their toolchains
- Familiarity with CI/CD systems and automated build/test pipelines
- Background in supporting large-scale development teams or live production environments
