Your portfolio should demonstrate a high level of quality and polish, and indicate your determination to push boundaries across several disciplines.
You will be responsible for:
Lead & Inspire: Guide a talented team of artists across multiple disciplines (2D, 3D, UI, animation) with clarity and passion. Mentor and grow the team, fostering both creativity and excellence.
Define the Vision: Own the overall art and Creative direction and ensure consistency across all visual elements, from idea to final product.
Elevate Quality: Set the creative bar high and push visual boundaries across style, polish, and player engagement.
Bring solutions: Navigate production challenges—scheduling, staffing, quality—while keeping creative momentum strong.
Collaborate: Partner with design and engineering to ensure visual ideas enhance gameplay, storytelling, and user experience.
Job Requirements:
Proven experience leading art teams on game projects (preferably mobile, but not required)
Strong creative vision and the ability to define, communicate, and maintain a cohesive visual style and a cohesive theme
Hands-on expertise across multiple art disciplines—concept, illustration, UI/UX, animation, motion graphics
A collaborative mindset with the ability to inspire and give meaningful feedback across departments
Proficiency in creative and production tools
Deep understanding of game development pipelines and production processes
Excellent at visual storytelling, graphic design, and typography skills
A keen eye for motion design and a love for visual rhythm and interaction
Bonus points:
Experience in the mobile game industry and avid player of mobile games
Strong knowledge in UX
Experiences working abroad or in an international environment
Comfortable communicating with Product Owners and other stakeholders
