Currently in Aristocrat, we are looking for a QA Engineer to join our Ignite team. More information on the role down below:
Key Responsibilities
* *Analyses* requirements, builds, and risks to *compose* test scenarios and *develop* acceptance/edge cases across UI, API, and performance layers,
* *Completes* regression/functional/integration testing,
* *Identifies* defects early and *resolves* ambiguity via clarification with Product/Engineering,
* *Implements* test plans and *initiates* improvements to test data, evidence standards, and traceability to requirements,
* *Collaborates* with developers to triage defects,
* *Researches* root causes and *invents* clear, reproducible bug reports with strong evidence,
* *Develops* and *implements* risk‑based regression strategies for releases,
* *Implements* lessons learned to prevent defect recurrence.
* Handles *diverse*‑*scope* problems,
* Provides mentorship on semi‑complex subjects to senior team members unfamiliar with QA,
* Drives alignment in ceremonies and defect triage.
Qualifications:
* *proven experience* in software testing,
* Strong skills in test build techniques, exploratory testing, and requirements analysis for *manual* test coverage.
Preferred Qualifications
* Hands‑on with TestRail/Jira (or comparable), API testing via Postman, basic SQL for data validation,
* ISTQB Advanced (Test Analyst) or equivalent
