Location: South-East England (Hybrid - 2/3 days in the office per week)

Overview
Aardvark Swift is partnering with a renowned international games studio to recruit a Japanese-speaking Administrator for their European office. This position sits within a small, collaborative team and reports to the Financial Controller, supporting a mix of administrative and finance-related activities.
This role is ideal for someone with strong organisational and language skills who is looking to develop experience within a finance function. You will be involved in a range of finance processes, with full training provided, while also acting as a key point of contact for Japanese-speaking stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day administrative support across the team, ensuring records and documentation are accurate and well organised
- Act as a liaison between English and Japanese-speaking teams, supporting communication, coordination, and translation where required
- Assist with processing invoices, payments, and maintaining documentation (full training provided)
- Support the preparation and organisation of financial records, ensuring compliance with internal procedures
- Help coordinate routine and ad hoc administrative and operational tasks
- Assist with data entry, reporting support, and maintaining internal systems
- Support month-end and other periodic processes, with guidance and training
- Help manage and organise company records, including filing and archiving
- Provide general administrative support across the finance function as needed
Skills & Experience- Previous experience in an administrative role (finance experience is not required but would be beneficial)
- Fluent communication skills in both English and Japanese, including the ability to support translation and coordination
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (e.g. SUMIFS, VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables)
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage workload effectively
- Proactive approach and willingness to learn new systems and processes
Desirable- Exposure to finance or accounting tasks
- Experience with SAP and/or IBM Notes
- Interest or knowledge of the video games industry
