A 35-year heritage games studio, known for technical innovation, creating immersive worlds and driving technology forward. This studio has collaborated with creative teams from around the world to contribute to the creation of some of the industry‚Äôs most acclaimed 90+ meta critic games.

You'll help to build an effective team and will ensure they are fully resourced. You'll plan, prioritise and set inspiring objectives for your team members all year long, empowering your team members with clear expectations and hold them accountable for their key results.

You'll provide your team members with ongoing and meaningful feedback on performance and development - ensuring positive acknowledgement of all achievements, both big and small.

What will you do? 

  • Collaborate with the core team to understand the Art Direction and the overall creative vision
  • Create environnement and cinematic effects using particle systems and textures you produce 
  • Partner with the dedicated programming teams to assess the needs and create new tools 
  • Integrate your new VFX into the game engine. Take into account the technical constraints to balance the expectations and the limitations
  • Take feedback from the playtest and other teams to debug and optimize your work 

What will you bring? 

  • A college diploma in Visual Effects or 3D Animation
  • At least five years of experience in modelling, texturing, lighting, image processing, or related experience
  • Knowledge of 2D art tools (Photoshop...), compositing software (After Effects, Nuke), 3D software (Maya, 3DS Max), and game editors (e.g. Unity or Unreal). A previous knowledge of procedural generation software like Houdini would really make a difference. 
  • An understanding of basic vector math and art fundamentals (lighting, composition, proportion, colour theory, etc.)
  • Very strong communication skills and ability to work with a team
