The video games industry is booming! Want to be part of it? This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic trainee to join an award-winning recruitment agency in a thriving market. This role will be your first glimpse into the world of recruitment where you will have the chance to build a successful career working within the video games sector.  You will embark on our bespoke 10-week training programme, which will introduce you to the fundamentals of recruitment, while you practise your skills in your day-to-day role. Our help and support won’t stop with the training…you’ll receive ongoing support and coaching throughout your probation period (and beyond!) while you learn the market and embed yourself into your new role.

So, what does a trainee recruiter do? Initially you’ll utilise your great communication skills to build strong long-standing relationships with your candidates. Chatting with candidates on the phone will be the order of the day! These initial conversations will underpin your training and help you hone your skills as a recruiter and build your games industry network.

As your confidence grows, you’ll start building relationships with clients and begin working the 360 process of permanent recruitment with clients ranging from innovative indie start-ups to industry renown AAA studios. These companies produce the games you know and love so being passionate about video games will get you off to a flying start as you launch your new career.

This is a fast-paced sales role which will come with KPIs and targets – all designed to help you develop as a master of recruitment! You’ll be given daily and weekly deliverables to help you push forward and strive for success...you MUST be a self-starter; ambitious, and process driven.

I’d love to hear from people who have already worked in a sales environment and want to make the leap to recruitment, or those who have extensive customer service experience and aren’t afraid to pick up the phone.
