Technical Artist in Berlin
Are you a Technical Artist looking for a new challenge? Would you like the opportunity to join an innovative and lively studio in Berlin?
As a Technical Artist at this studio, you will be responsible for playing a key role within the art team, in facilitating efficient production of assets and offering creative solutions to any roadblocks. You will be joining a talented team and assisting in the development of high-quality new games, as well as existing live games.
As a part of the team at this studio, you will benefit from onsite training, free food and snacks within the office and some great team social events throughout the year! As well as this, you will be offered comprehensive relocation support to get you settled into your new home in Berlin.
Technical Artist key responsibilities:
Work to support the development of new games as well as current games
Design and document the art creation pipeline
Optimise art creation process by extending the DCC packages
Identify issues and challenges in existing pipelines and create solutions
Implement next generation rendering techniques on mobile with the engineering team
Essential requirements for this role in Berlin:
Strong knowledge of Unity, C# and Python
Prior experience within the games industry
Knowledge of the graphics pipeline and shader writing
Experience of developing for mobile platforms such as iOS and Android
Knowledge of all stages of game development
Experience of developing for 3D packages such as Maya, Modo and Blender
Strong photoshop scripting knowledge
Excelling debugging skills
Experience with source control systems such as fit
