Software Engineer in Berlin
Do you have experience as a software engineer and a passion for creating tools that solve complex user issues? This could be the role for you!
As a Software Engineer at this studio in Berlin, you will be working on creating tools to support their next generation of story-driven games. You should have a broad knowledge of tools as well as, ideally, experience in and passion for the games industry.
The studio makes beautiful mobile narrative games for their keen and loyal playerbase, and work on a method of continuous improvement by gathering player feedback and using this to regularly update games.

Software Engineer key responsibilities:
Develop web-based tools to analyse and optimise operations for the studio’s games
Work on internal tools to drive content for narrative games (typescript, electron, node, react, bootstrap)
Improve marketing and user acquisition KPIs by extending internal tools and pipelines
Develop internal services working with backend and data engineering teams
Build internal dashboards by collating data from different sources and combining it with bootstrap react interface
Configure web-pack builds
Develop new APIs for consumption by the game’s teams
Essential requirements for this role in Berlin:
Significant prior experience as a software engineer
Experience working in mobile games
Experience writing tests in Mocha/Chai/Enzyme/Jest/React-testing-library
Passionate about user experience and creating tools to solve complex problems
Knowledgeable about API design
