This is your chance to make a move to terrific Toronto! You'll be joining an awesome indie studio as they gear up their team for the next AAA project!

Their first game sold over 5 million copies across major platforms and they've since worked on two further titles! Are you ready to step up and lead an already successful production team to a highly anticipated sequel?

As the new UI Designer, you will be responsible for defining the look and feel of the game UI and menus, designing and creating assets, and advocating for the user experience and flow.

The ideal candidate will be a champion of UI / UX design principles and best practices, particularly in how this can elevate the overall experience in games.

Bonus points for having experience in facilitating or gathering player feedback in multiple iterations of interface design!

Your day-to-day will be filled with:

Collaborating with the development team to understand and define the UI / UX requirements for the game and its features

Creating mockups, wireframes, and mood boards to establish the look and feel of all in-game UI and menus

Developing all layouts and art assets necessary for implementation

Identifying supporting visuals such as motion or typeface

Gather and interpret user feedback in order to improve the overall player experience

Support any brand or marketing related needs for the product as necessary

Required XP:

A capacity for what makes for great UI / UX

3+ years of being a UI Designer or UI Artist

Bonus XP

Experience working with Unreal Engine 4 / UMB

A history of developing AAA titles on multiple platforms

Knowledgeable of certification requirements for game platforms
