Are you an experienced Environment Artist with an interest in VR? Like the sound of being a part of an established and growing studio that's widely recognised as being at the forefront VR development?

You'll be adding your experience and knowledge of creating cohesive and believable game worlds to a talented team of dev's, together you'll be working on an exciting VR title that's all set to be a global hit, and you'll have a major impact on how the title both looks and plays.

As the Senior Environment Artist you will be responsible for...

  • Interpreting the concept & style to craft remarkable & memorable in-game environments
  • Collaborating with level designers to meld creativity & design into creative gameplay
  • Composing lighting, set dressing, atmosphere etc to create emotive worlds that excite the player - all in conjunction with colleagues from other disciplines
  • Inspire the environment team & by extension the wider studio 

The essential skills & experience required for the role are...

  • 4+ years industry experience with multiple shipped titles
  • Demonstrable experience of creating cohesive & believable worlds across different styles
  • Self-driven, autonomous & confident with interpreting & translating art direction
  • A strong sense of composition, lighting, form & colour
  • Efficient & creative knowledge of real-time engines e.g. UE4 & relevant tools such as Maya & Z-Brush
  • Able to use multiple techniques for 3D asset creation
  • Strong communication skills, well-tempered & consistent attitude; essentially a team player at heart
  • Able to critique their own & others work respectfully & inspire colleagues to push for quality

Bonus XP if you have...

  • Strong illustrative & storyboarding skills
  • Experience of working with concept teams
