Senior C++ Programmer responsibilities:
Translate features from designers into efficient code
Explore game ideas by producing prototypes
Implement technical aspects of games such as networking, animation, effects, UI, etc.
Assess and solve performance issues within the existing codebase
Analyse and improve core technology and tools
Act as a technical expert in providing support and feedback
Key requirements for this role in Falmouth:
Experience of working on one or more shipped PC/console game with credits for engine or graphics
Expert C++ and systems design skills
Experienced with UE4 programming on published games
Knowledge of engine low-level systems such as graphics, physics and networking
University degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science
Experience of one or more graphics API
Experience of cross-platform development
Experience with JIRA and/or Agile software development
