Job overview

You’ll work alongside likeminded people who all have something in common – a passion for the games industry, that are looking for a career rather than just a job, who are target driven sales professionals that thrive on success and smashing targets.

You’ll also be expected to represent the business at games industry-focused events around the UK, Europe and in the US as well as being part of driving the sales function of the business. You will show prospective clients why Games Jobs Direct is the right place to invest their recruitment advertising budget.



This is a growing business with huge ambitions. There’s a lot of scope for the role to develop and expand alongside the business.

The job

  • Account management of existing clients/studios
  • Upselling our bolt on services to existing clients
  • Creating quotes for clients and closing the sale
  • Business development and lead generation
  • Outbound sales calls to existing and new clients
  • Winning new business
  • Working to KPI’s and smashing sales targets
  • Inbound calls, listening to requirements and tailoring a package to suit, promoting the value of our marketing and branding services.
  • Demos of our services


This role would suit someone with B2B, B2C and ideally media sales experience. Someone that will fit in with our close-knit and successful team. Someone who will live and breath our values and use their enthusiasm to connect and sell to our prospects.

You’ll be enthusiastic, driven and commercially focussed with excellent communication skills, especially on the phone, the ability to learn quickly and attention to detail are a must.
