As the Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing the sales of video games to retail partners in North and South America, include planning, organizing and executing sales and marketing programs for your specified territory.  You will work closely with the sales, production and marketing teams to ensure that our video games are stocked and have a best-in-class presence at all retail partners within your specified territory.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, qualify and close sales opportunities with select key accounts in North and South America
  • Work closely with production and marketing teams on new game releases to manage retail marketing and launch strategies with retail partners
  • Maintain the post-launch lifecycle of each game and drive revenue through retail partners by developing effective sales promotions and retail marketing campaigns
  • Manage retail marketing strategies within budget
  • Build strong relationships with retail partners that position Bethesda as an industry leader and reliable partner
  • Manage administrative responsibilities including: verifying credit requests, collecting proof-of-performance for sales promotions/marketing campaigns, and managing claims
  • Accurately forecast and communicate results from sales promotions to management
  • Oversee inventory management and replenishment forecasting at our retail partners to ensure our games are always in stock and available to consumers throughout each game’s lifecycle

Requirements

  • Passionate about video games, and a strong understanding of them
  • 5+ years demonstrated success in sales or marketing
  • Sales experience with retail accounts in North and/or South America, with a strong preference towards experience in video games or related entertainment content
  • Spanish language proficiency a plus
  • Proven track record of strong relationship/account management skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Self-starter who takes initiative to champion new ideas or products
  • Articulate, highly motivated, organized and a team player
  • Works well in fast-paced environment
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a team
  • MS Office proficiency
  • BA/BS or equivalent experience required
  • Must be able to work out of our offices in Rockville, MD
  • Must be able to travel frequently throughout the year, including international travel
