Contract | Full Time
At Roll7, we create exciting and critically acclaimed video games - including the BAFTA-winning OlliOlli franchise. Innovation, freedom, and a real sense of fun are at the heart of everything we do, from creating award-winning original IPs to the everyday business of running our unique distributed workplace set-up.
We've been a remotely distributed studio for the past five years; even before Covid, the majority of our employees were working from home nine days out of ten. Our robust online communication system, alongside scheduled team fun days and activities, allow us to retain all the positives of a welcoming and friendly office environment, without the downsides of a long and expensive commute.
We know that remote work allows us to offer a high degree of freedom and autonomy to our motivated and creative staff, and we're passionate about making sure that everyone at Roll7 can work in a way that allows them to balance impressive workplace achievements with their own responsibilities at home. Our flexible hours policy means that the work day can fit around your needs - from doctor’s appointments, to the school run, to extra time to spend with your pets and family.
As a #RaiseTheGame pledge partner, we are deeply committed to creating an inclusive work environment that actively encourages applications from diverse backgrounds and perspectives across underrepresented communities such as BAME, LGBTQIA+ and Disabled applicants.
We love to give every employee a chance to play and contribute to the games we make, we love giving people the freedom to pursue their own path to success, and we hate crunch.
Are you ready to help ensure the quality and comprehensive testing of our BAFTA winning IPs? Roll7 is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated QA Tester to join our team for a 12 month contract. The quality assurance team focuses on ensuring that our products continuously meet and exceed the high quality bar we have set for our games.
As one of our embedded QA Testers, you will contribute towards the execution of all internal quality assurance testing and performance profiling. You will also assist with test planning, localization verification, build distribution, submission and sign-off processes.
You're a perfect match for this position if you possess a strong understanding of how to efficiently diagnose, prioritize and perform testing duties within a deadline-driven environment. If you share in our desire to embrace the exciting challenges that come with making remarkable, original PC and Console games, then we would love to hear from you.

At Roll7, our team is at the heart of everything we do, and it matters to us that everyone feels comfortable and valued at work. We are an equal opportunities employer, and we have a keen commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive environment where all of our employees are accepted and valued as part of the team. We hire based on talent and suitability for the role - regardless of race, national origin, ancestry, sex, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, age, religion, pregnancy, marital status or veteran status.
Roll7 is a remote studio, so even when restrictions ease, the role will remain as a primarily work-from-home position. However, under normal circumstances, we do hold semi-regular team meets in our London office. Therefore, applications are welcome from all over UK and EU, so long as you are able to travel to London once every 6 weeks. Appropriate equipment, dev kits and software licenses will be supplied as required.
