This position is based in Guildford, UK and reports to the Technical Lead.
What will you do?
Solve performance issues
Work on large-scale engine-level technical problems
Identify areas of technical debt and attack at every possibility
Research new technologies
Apply new (and old) techniques to make the game better in all ways
What are we looking for? Have you experienced the thrill and pain of multiple console generations?
Did you enjoy optimising for the PS2 Vector Units?
Do you thrive on a problem that no other coder wants to touch because "it's a challenge"?
Do you reminisce fondly about 68000 asm?
Would you share your best PS3 PSU optimisation story down the pub?
Could you argue passionately for both sides of the argument: ST vs Amiga?
