Hello, we’re Glowmade!
We’re a small, exciting company and the goal of our games is to unlock people's imagination and help them express themselves in wonderful, fun ways. Right now we’re busy building a new multiplayer cooperative game with an ambitious creative wrapper around it. We can’t say too much, but if you can imagine Jim Henson’s Labyrinth mashed up with Wrestlemania, then you’ll be on the right track!
We’ve got big hearts and big ideas, and this is an opportunity to play a pivotal role in our growing team. Reporting to Jonny Hopper (CEO) you’ll be working closely with him and the leadership team to plan our game’s economy and live roadmap.
FROM DAY ONE WE WOULD LIKE YOU TO…
Jump enthusiastically into the game, getting a feel for the scope and long term vision
Work with designers, production and the wider team to plan out our objectives and priorities and help carefully craft an engaging, long-term player experience
IN SIX MONTHS YOU WILL BE…
The owner of our game’s live roadmap and delivery schedule, including resourcing and the real-money economy.
Liaising with stakeholders both inside and outside of the studio to build a common vision for the live service.
Defining and tracking key game KPIs to ensure business goals are realised.
Finding patterns and actionable conclusions in key metrics data.
Proposing meaningful A/B tests and reporting your findings to help positively impact the KPIs of the game.
Educating the team in the Live Service processes and delivery
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WOULD…
Have experience planning and shipping live games either on mobile, PC, or console.
Have strong experience in GaaS game development.
Have an understanding of best practises when it comes to engagement, retention, monetisation and community management.
Be able to provide clear direction, measurable goals and provide insight into the latest trends for service based games.
Have a proven track record on improving stats on a live game.
A FEW MORE BITS:
This is an opportunity for you to make a significant contribution not only to the game but to our team and the company. Everyone at Glowmade has a voice, and it’s important to us that you feel empowered and are given the time and space to use it.
The studio is currently working remotely due to the global pandemic but we are based in Guildford, UK and we’d really like to have you here with us onsite once we can all safely return to the studio. We offer competitive wages and we are an actively equal opportunities employer. If all of the above sounds exciting and you think you can fill this pivotal role, please get in touch. No agencies please!
Keep Calm and waka waka...
