Bring your design lead skills to a place where they'll be valued, on a trip to marvellous Montreal! You'll be joining the leading creator of mobile games, working on titles that pull in a monthly audience of more than 115 million players worldwide.

You'll be developing the game systems, as well as the progression and retention mechanics, on one of this studios’ biggest free-to-play mobile games.

There'll be plenty to do in your downtime too, so don't worry about that! From rocking up at the Centre Bell Arena to watch the Montreal Canadiens (or 'The Habs' to the locals), to relaxing with the drumming beats of Tam Tams in Mount Royal Park; there will never be a dull moment in your new city.

From the beginning of your adventure, you will be called on to:

  • Conceptualise and develop the game, designing in-depth documents
  • Develop social mechanics and game modes to improve engagement and retention
  • Analyse the in-game metrics and suggest game adjustments accordingly
  • Keep all project documents up to date
  • Regularly update all aspects of the game to maintain the quality level
  • Maintain a high level of communication and follow-up with various departments
  • Develop gameplay systems
  • Ensure excellent communication with the people in charge of the technical design of the game (TGD), programming, etc
  • Inspire and promote good practices in terms of game design with Game Designers present on the project
  • Create prototypes and explore new game ideas

What you’ll bring to the team:

  • 10+ years professional experience in game design
  • 3+ years professional experience as a Lead Game Designer
  • Excellent knowledge of the iOS / Android game market and F2P
  • At least one published F2P title
  • Experience with prototyping tools (Flash, Unity, Virtools, GameMaker, etc)
  • Diploma of college studies in one of the following: computer science, multimedia, graphic design, video games, or equivalent
  • HUGE bonus points if you have English-French bilingualism
