Permanent | Full Time

Pssst. You over there, yes you, the creative genius with the sketchbook!

You could be just the person I’ve been looking for…

I’m searching high and low (and in all the edgiest cafés) for a talented Junior 3D Generalist to join a tight knit, supportive team at a new studio in Sheffield!

I’m not allowed to say too much about their major upcoming project but rest assured that you’ll be taking a hands-on role, that will see you responsible for creating and modelling environments, assets and props as well as dreaming up and visualising concepts.

In this role, you’ll have the chance to partner with a veritable giant of the games world to produce a new multiplayer aerial combat game. You could even say that in this role, you’ll be waging “War” against a lack of inspiration, armed with your trusty “Hammer” of imagination… *ahem*...

... ok, I’ll admit that wasn’t my best, but you get the idea. I’m very bad at keeping secrets.

The salary on offer is competitive and also dependent on the standard of your art. To land this role you’ll need a high-quality portfolio with a mix of 3D and 2D pieces to demonstrate your artistic vision.

This may surprise you, but it won’t faze you; most importantly, your portfolio will be stuffed to the brim with sketches and pencil drawings to show off that you’re hungry to observe, visualise and immortalise the world around you. As a committed artist, you’ll recognise that an interest in both digital and physical art will give you a solid foundation and improve the quality of your work.

And it goes without saying – you’ll love video games. Like … really, really love video games - obviously!
