Creative Assembly's award-winning team behind Alien: Isolation are exploring new frontiers with a brand-new and exciting First-Person Tactical Shooter IP using Unreal 4.

We are seeking a programmer who is interested in pushing the boundaries of next generation consoles to their limits. Our world-famous console team seeks a talented programmer who is passionate about graphics tech, using UE4 to develop for Xbox Family, Playstation Family and PC.

We are creating another multi-platform AAA blockbuster and the successful applicant will be part of a very talented engine team working at the cutting edge of interactive graphics technology.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Engine Lead you will be implementing cutting edge graphical features on multiple platforms. You will be working with the content and tools teams to produce data driven solutions that are topflight content creation tools for fast iteration of game content. All of this will need to be performant on both CPU and GPU on multiple platforms.

Knowledge, Skill and Experience

Essential

  • A good BSc degree or equivalent in a relevant subject such as maths, computer science or engineering
  • Strong 3D maths skills
  • An in-depth understanding of next-gen rendering techniques
  • Fluent C++
  • A thorough understanding of PlayStation and Xbox.


  • Desirable

  • Pix and other industry standard profiling tools
  • UE4 experience
  • Multi-threaded / multi core techniques
