As a Games Build Engineer you will maintain a robust and reliable farm of Build Servers that continuously provide builds from our latest games/prototypes to the whole company.

What you will really be doing

  • Continuously monitor the build servers and proactively solve developer problems.
  • Work closely with QA and Design to improve processes.
  • Develop and maintain documentation of the build/release process.
  • Cooperate with outside developers to integrate with our internal build and QA processes.
  • Make sure thousands of builds a month work smoothly.

How you will be doing this
  • You'll be part of an agile, multidisciplinary and creative team and work closely with them to coordinate efforts and get the best results.
  • You'll think creatively and will be motivated by challenges and constantly striving for the best.
  • You'll work with cutting edge technology, if you need software or hardware to get the job done efficiently, you can get it

Team

Our talented team is our signature. We have a highly creative atmosphere with around 60 staff where you'll have the opportunity to contribute daily to important technical decisions. You'll work within an extremely experienced and passionate team, including David Darling and the creator of the Micro Machines video games.

Skills and requirements
  • Experience within the games industry.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python, bash, ruby, etc.
  • Experience with automated build systems, deployment and testing systems.
  • Experience with continuous Integration Systems
  • Experience with source control systems
  • Drive to automate, make processes more efficient and less error prone.
  • Good communication skills
  • Some experience with Unity and C#
  • Some experience with Jenkins
  • AWS experience a plus.
