We are now looking for an experienced

Community Communications and Event Specialist to be part of our small Communications team of two (including you!)

You will plan and execute communications initiatives that increase awareness and enhance the RedLynx employer brand, as well as build the employee experience. You will be in charge of our events, which range from studio weekly get-togethers to big parties.

You will work in close collaboration with the HR and marketing teams at RedLynx, as well as liaise with Ubisoft’s communications teams around the world. We estimate that your time would be divided roughly 50% to community communications and 50% to events. This role is permanent and you will be reporting to the Communications Manager.

Core responsibilities

  • Develop engaging and strategic content (text, video, images) across the studio’s different channels, such as social media, website and the intranet, to support employer branding initiatives
  • Monitor the social media landscape and develop our studio’s channels
  • Work closely with game projects to identify and execute on content opportunities
  • Manage, execute and develop our internal and external events with creativity and excellence
  • Manage external event agencies for game launch parties and key employee events
  • Create analytics reports to track success, develop recommendations and best practices

  • Highly organized with excellent project management skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated; takes initiative with a drive to successfully execute with excellence
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills
  • A positive attitude with a desire to work collaboratively with others
  • Superior writing skills with the ability to customize content for targeted audiences
  • Results-driven approach, understanding of content creation and engagement for web and social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter)
  • Graphic design, video content creation, and photography experience and interest are all considered an asset
  • Experience with WordPress is an asset
  • Native or close to native level of English (both written and verbal). No Finnish required
  • Good business acumen

Qualifications

  • Minimum of three years’ experience in social media and other content production in a business environment
  • Proven track record in organizing large scale events
