How would you like to work for a studio that is revolutionising the way children all over the world are learning? Immersive VR Education have picked up award after award and have even been nominated for an award at the Venice Film Festival for their Immersive experiences.

You will be joining an experienced Art team, creating photorealistic Characters for VR experiences that aim to capture historical events and bring them back to life. Past projects have included Apollo 11 VR, Titanic and 1943: Berlin Blitz.

The team are now embarking on their next adventure into the past and need an experienced, Character artist to bring their next project to life.

This studio prides itself in its agile environment, with 4 projects on the go, your work blocks will be varied and exciting. Cross collaboration is very important in this studio and as such a team-player attitude is imperative.
 

Primarily responsibilities:

  • 3+ years’ game development experience, specifically creating real-time characters and items using Maya, ZBrush and Photoshop (or equivalent 3D and 2D programs)
  • Exceptional understanding of human/creature anatomy, colour theory, values, form, shape language, silhouette and composition
  • Strong knowledge of fashion and costume design
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a broad range of styles, within technical constraints, using proprietary systems and tools

 

Essential Skills:

· Extensive experience modelling in 3DS Max, equivalent package.

· Experience in a 3D sculpting package.

 

Desirable skills:

· Familiarity with texture painting package and work-flow.

· Unity or equivalent game engine experience.
