Do you have a passion for creating high-end VR experiences? Love the feeling you get knowing you're part of a huge project, creating the next hit VR title? Your new studio is carving a unique and exciting path in the games industry and they're looking for a Build & Tools Engineer to join them on their journey - which is where you come in!

You’ll be joining a tight knit team who create big games! So you’ll be playing a full and active role in the project, having a huge impact on the final game!

Day to day you can expect to engineer critical tools underpinning development across the studio's games and solve complex technical challenges with developers from all disciplines, improving their workflows.

Your talent will be celebrated and nurtured and your new studio will work on constantly improving tools and workflow so you can focus on creativity. They’ve already harnessed Unreal Engine 4 and built a suite of powerful, world-class systems on top of it. Now they need you to help them take this further.

Do you have the skills needed for the role?

  • Skilled in C++
  • Experienced in build systems: TeamCity, Jenkins, CircleCI or similar, continuous integration, automation
  • Experienced with source control systems: Perforce, Git, Mercurial, Subversion
  • Prepared to dive into unfamiliar code & learn new skills
  • Able to clearly communicate to technical and non-technical people to help them overcome technical issues

We’d be super impressed if you have these skills!

  • Knowledge of relational & document-orientated databases, Unreal editor, web development
  • Experience of different operating systems & platforms
  • Knowledge of C#, Python, JavaScript would be useful
