Are you an experienced Lead Artist looking for a step up into a new challenge? This role at a leading indie studio could be perfect for you!
As the Art Director at this studio in London, you will be responsible for establishing the creative vision for games, ensuring that tasks are tackled in the best way and completed to schedule. You should have a strong portfolio of previous work in several different styles and a passion for mentoring a team!
This studio is proudly one of the largest development studios in the UK. They are made up of a passionate team of individuals who are well looked after as the studio has recently been awarded a health and wellbeing award! They are in plans to grow all teams in all locations over the next couple of years, so it is certainly an exciting time to join them.

Art Director Responsibilities :
Directly manage the art team to ensure they fulfil their commitments
Help the art team to develop a strong visual identity
Help to establish the art vision for games and guide this through the development of marketing art, live operations, and documentation
Assist the production team in scheduling sprints and projects
Look for opportunities to improve gameplay experiences
Identify any risks to the Studio Art Director or Leadership team
Essential requirements for this role in London:
Experience of working on match 3 mobile games
Previous experience with scheduling within an agile environment
Strong knowledge in all areas of craft
Able to propose art styles to suit game designs
Experience with working on several art styles
Experience of working at several game studios
