AAA Lead Art Manager in Sheffield

This role, at a diverse and award-winning studio, offers the chance for an experienced Art Manager to join a continually growing gaming developer, with studios across the UK. As part of the leadership team you’ll be responsible for guiding the Art Director and Art Team as well as managing all art and animation.

Art Manager Key responsibilities:

Manage production and delivery of art and animation on a AAA title

Manage the structure and development of the Art Team

Create schedule for Art and Animation Team

Guide Art Director on requirements of art and animation

Consult Production, Development Director and Art Leads on art planning and milestone definition processes

Encourage best practices, critique problems and optimise workflows

Create briefs and feedback to development teams

Enable collaboration and communication between internal and external teams

Required skills to be considered for this role in Sheffield:

AAA experience

5+ years as a Senior or Lead

Experience in

Managing teams throughout the length of a project

Scheduling, budgeting and outsourcing

Understanding and knowledge of

Game creation and managing content from other developers

Art content pipelines and management

Contemporary processes and engine technology

Strong organisational skills

Excellent communicator, patient and diplomatic when working in a team

Able to supervise teams to facilitate the completion of tasks
