Games Jobs Direct has an audience of over 17,000 on social media (as of 11/12/19) and we love creating content that engages this audience. Working with our studio partners we post job adverts across different Social Media sites, create useful blog articles (like this one!), show off interesting snippets from our podcast, news of a new game or simply a studio showcase talking about everything that is great about a game studio.

We push this content out via our LinkedIn Page, LinkedIn Group, Facebook Page, Facebook Group, Twitter and Instagram.

On top of this, the Games Jobs Direct team will also push out content on their personal LinkedIn pages and other LinkedIn groups.

Weekly Newsletter

The weekly newsletter is sent out to an audience of over 55,000 people from all four corners of the world that have registered to the jobs board.

Each week we send out a snippet of games news alongside some great job-related content from our fantastic game studio partners. This will include some featured job adverts, featured studios and a round-up of some of the best jobs in games across the globe.

The weekly newsletter is a great way to get your vacancies in front of the right people.


Content is key and we love to work on brand new content that showcases our game studio partners.  We’re happy to promote things that our audience cares about; in the past, this has included studio tours, behind the scenes chats with hiring managers, game news, interviews with recruiters, gaming recruitment news and much much more.

We also have a Studio Showcase section, where we promote what the great things about a game studio are behind the games. 


Our podcast is a new initiative where we interview people in games studios across the world to find out more about the studio itself, focussing on things such as vulture, work-life balance, why a studio is great to work for to showcase and champion the studio and explain why someone would want to work there.

We talk to Heads of Studios, Hiring Managers, In-House Recruiters and anyone else that wants to get involved! Everyone has a good story to tell about how they got into the industry, and why their studio is a great place to work.

This is a great way to amplify why your studio is an amazing place to work and why candidates should want to submit an application.

Since 2011, Games Jobs Direct has been building an impressive database of talented candidates that work in games. These candidates have authorised game studios to be able to find their resumes.
