Your Mission in Funcom

We are seeking a dedicated Animation Producer to collaborate closely with Animation Leads, Animation Director, Game Director Production leadership, and other stakeholders to oversee and manage the animation production process. In this role, you will leverage your project management expertise and deep understanding of animation pipelines to ensure projects are delivered on schedule and maintain high standards of quality.

How you can have an impact in your position:

  • Work closely with Animation Leads, Animation Director, Game Director, Production Leadership, and other Producers to prioritize and manage team needs for project completion.
  • Utilize project management tools and methodologies to maintain tight schedules and ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Identify and address production bottlenecks and roadblocks, both on a day-to-day basis and for long-term project success.
  • Collaborate with Animation, Animation Programming and Technical Animation teams to make informed decisions and maintain project direction.
  • Drive the overall vision and quality priorities of the game, ensuring alignment with project goals and deadlines.
  • Oversee, coordinate, track, and manage team activities to meet project milestones and deliverables.
  • Provide regular progress updates to production teams and coordinate deliveries with other departments.


We are looking for you to have:
  • 4+ years of game development experience from which at least 2 are in an internal development production role
  • A demonstrated understanding of various Project Management methodologies including Scrum/Agile, as well as good organizational skills and an ability to balance project demands with high quality
  • Proficiency with project management tools such as JIRA
  • The ability to drive teams of developers to ensure timely deliveries
  • Experience working with larger projects across multiple time zones and gathering feature requests from multiple stakeholders
  • An understanding of open-world survival games, their feature and retention values, and the ability to make production decisions based on that understanding
  • A passion for video games


In addition, ideally you might also have:
  • Deep knowledge about game development processes for animation, art and design
  • Shipped AA/AAA titles in your portfolio
  • Experience with post-launch support and content updates
  • Scrum Master certification
