As we move on to new projects, the studio that brought you Baldur's Gate 3 & Divinity: Original Sin 2 is looking for a Lead Performance Director to join the team and help us in crafting the high caliber games our fans have come to expect.

Lead Performance Director
Responsibilities

  • Leading and mentoring the Motion Capture Team and other Performance Directors under the leadership of the Director of Animation and in coordination with the Voice Director
  • Develop and improve upon our motion capture tools and techniques and best practices to build upon our ability to deliver story and action moments
  • Communicate and coordinate with the stakeholders in Voice, Story, Cinematic Art, Design and Animation
  • Craft a consistent and comprehensive approach and direction for the physicality of Larian characters
  • Work alongside VO direction with our performers to craft and deliver the personality and physicality of NPC dialogue interactions
  • Schedule, plan and efficiently direct motion capture action and cinematic shoots


Requirements
  • Extensive experience in working with motion capture technology and data
  • Experience directing actors and a solid understanding of what makes a successful performance
  • Clear communication skills and a background in leading teams


Nice to haves
  • Knowledge of game engines, maya, motion builder, Shotgrid, editing software
  • Experience with voice direction
  • Understanding of storyboarding, cinematography, body mechanics
